MAKE NATURE YOUR NEIGHBOUR
WELCOME TO MANCHESTER'S NEWEST COMMUNITY
Red Bank is being built for greener living in harmony with the city’s lively urban spirit. Across 3 distinct neighbourhoods, 8,000 people will call Red Bank home – all set amidst nature and interconnected by circular green routes. As a vibrant destination in its own right, thousands more will eat, drink, shop, relax, play, learn and grow together here.
Welcome to Red Bank, Manchester’s newest city neighbourhood.
MAKING CITY LIVING GREENER
NATURAL SETTING.
URBAN ATTITUDE.
Inviting homes that welcome all. Roots in a thriving community, with vibrant social spaces. Outdoor connections for an active lifestyle. Feel closer to the things that make you feel alive at Red Bank.
CREATING A PLACE EVERYONE CAN CALL HOME
Red Bank is designed to enrich urban experiences and wellbeing, and inspire a new generation of life stories. Created alongside Danish placemaking experts, BRIQ, here people will know each other, shop and meet up locally, and belong to a thriving community.
BRINGING COMMUNITY AND CHARACTER TO LIFE
At Red Bank, local retailers and businesses do more than serve the essentials. They also draw neighbours together seamlessly, add vibrancy, promote sustainability and root the place in a rich identity that celebrates Manchester’s heritage of creativity and making.
ONE COMMUNITY, THREE DISTINCT NEIGHBOURHOODS
The first neighbourhood to launch in Red Bank, Riverside offers the opportunity to live, work and play in open green spaces along the waterside in one of Manchester’s most historic parts – while being within minutes of the city centre. New homes come together with bars, cafés, shops and offices for people to thrive together.
COMING SOON
A leafy neighbourhood with parkland panoramas, designed with families in mind. Neighbouring St Catherine’s Wood, the Plateau will be packed full of parks, public squares and children’s play areas, and connected to the wider Red Bank district with green routes. No need to give up city centre life when the little ones come along.
IN THE MAKING
Set against the backdrop of Red Bank Riverside’s modern apartment buildings – amidst the viaduct railway arches – this neighbourhood is alive with industrial heritage and buzzing venues and will continue to become a destination in its own right. Waterfront bars and must-visit restaurants will combine with new homes and green spaces.
URBAN REGENERATION ON AN UNPRECEDENTED SCALE
Red Bank is one of the first phases of Victoria North, the largest regeneration project Manchester has ever seen and the biggest in the North of England.
OVER £1 BILLION IN TOTAL INVESTMENT
Victoria North’s seven neighbourhoods will bring 15,000 homes to the city – almost 5,500 in Red Bank alone – together with ample amenities, social infrastructure, new transport links and job opportunities. 113 acres of green space – the new City River Park – will tie the neighbourhoods together.
